School Support Designations
Schools that score in the bottom 5 percent of the total number of points on the STAR Framework are identified as Comprehensive Support 1; High schools that have graduation rates below 67% in both four-year and five-year cohorts are identified as Comprehensive Support 2; and schools with at least one student group that is performing at or below the level of the lowest performing schools in DC are designated as Targeted Support 1. The Comprehensive Support 1 and 2 designations are made every three years. Targeted Support 1 designations are made annually.
